This is a group for people interested in using Boardmaker to help develop early literacy skills and coordinate visual displays with picture books, easy to read books, seasonal/thematic books, etc.

A Group to Share Social Stories!!!

This group is to share your most successful boardmaker lessons and ideas that you have found successful with autistic students. The students can range anywhere from high functioning to low functioning. The group can share effective behavior programs and good social stories that have helped eliminate some of the behavior problems of autistic students.

Join us to exchange ideas and materials for supporting student success in academic areas like math, science, social studies, reading and writing.

This group recognizes that an increasing number of schools are enabling their staff to access interactive, white boards such as Smart Board and Promethium Boards to provide dynamic, interactive, and effective instruction through whole class and individual activities. The goal of this group is to provide a specific place for those individuals to find functional and useful Boardmaker Software Family activities that either were made specifically for these interactive, white boards or have been modified from their original form to be used on these boards. Group will be actively moderated by an Implementation Training Specialist from DynaVox Mayer-Johnson. Active discussion and posting of activities that members have made or found useful for interactive, white boards is encouraged. Please write a short description of how activity was/is used. Thanks!

Children who are read to become readers. Children with autism need supports in order to comprehend stories that are being read to them. This group is intended to be a place where teachers can find a collection of boards to support students who are listening to or reading the best books in children's literature pre-k through high school.

Post your favorite onscreen interactive activities that do not require any download or importing to play. If you like to access activities directly from Boardmakershare without having to "save" the activity and import it,... then post it here! Note...These must be one page activities that do not have video or imported media. Please only post activities that you have used in this fashion that do not go looking for other pages or files when running in use mode. again - only activities that work well when "open" is selected. after "download" is "hosen.

I looked for a "general" group for slp's and did not see one. There were a few groups of slp's from specific places, but I just wanted a general "if you are a speech therapist" group. Please share articulation, language, social stories, behavior supports, or anything else you make that another SLP might benefit from.
